Hello to all Supporters of the Bourne Rail Trail/SSBW Extension!

We must convince Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll to remove the Falmouth Secondary track. The administration in Washington is opposed to federal funding of multi-modal pathways. Without an immediate decision to lift the track, $25 million of federal funding secured by the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority for this project will be lost.

Please help us inundate the Governor’s office with calls and emails supporting removal of the track and construction of the rail-to-trail path. If you email, feel free to simply copy and paste the short message we’ve provided below. Please call or email within the next few days. Time is of the essence.

Thank you and see you on the trail!!!

Please announce a decision now to remove the little-used, taxpayer subsidized Falmouth Secondary rail line in favor of the much greater public good – the Shining Sea Bikeway Extension/Bourne Rail Trail. The federal funding secured for this project is in grave jeopardy unless you announce your decision soon. Thank you.
